FAQ
Questions fréquentes — fonctionnaires & employés de l’État (Luxembourg).
Who is myTime for?
myTime is a working time calculator for Luxembourg public servants (fonctionnaires and employés de l'État): arrival, midday break, leave time for 8h or 9h, and work-stretch checks.
How does the midday break rule work?
No break: 30 minutes deducted automatically. Break under 15 minutes: break duration + 30 minutes. Break of 15 minutes or more: at least 30 minutes deducted (top-up if needed).
Why the warning after 6 hours straight?
myTime flags continuous work blocks over 6 hours so you can plan a break. It is a practical indicator, not an official check.
Are the results official or binding?
No. myTime is an informational helper. Results may differ from internal systems or your administration's rules. Always verify with your service.
Is my data sent to a server?
Not for calculation. Your times stay in your browser's localStorage. Anonymous analytics (Umami) only run if you accept.
What is the difference between 8 and 9 hours?
myTime calculates leave time for both 8-hour and 9-hour days from your arrival and the applicable break deduction — useful depending on your target hours or overtime.
